Double Pick on both teams

When two players pick the same hero in a round, the hero is banned instead and the round restarts

I found this very unnecessary to be honest i thought it was not going to be an issue, but it resulted being one of the most annoying things in the game right now.

First, normally getting taken ur hero away and banned which is already so annoying when u even make the risk of picking it and even getting counterpicked and so the other guy just picks the same and bans it for you i think its very frustating and annoying.

This just happened to me, i was going to play Midlane i picked 5th pick Shadow Fiend i went to the bathroom to take a p1ss and i come back and i the only thing i see its that i abandoned the game.
I got pretty mad im not gonna lie pretty much the reason why im typing this right now, it was my fault as well but i still see it as one the most annoying features in the game and i just found it completely out of place and unnecessary, i was in 9.5k behaviour score so there goes my 500 behaviour and a 30 minute ban, i found it to be like the most stupid way to get an abandon lmao.

It was my fault tho im just saying that i found this feature very annoying.

So the problem is that instead of going to bathroom and then pressing search you started search before finishing all your urgent buisnesess and went to do them after the game started? And YOU the one who dare to be annoyed BY THE GAME?

Here is a good advice - don't start the search if you are not sure you will be able to sit near PC at least an hour. Has nothing to do with new system.

It is actually a good thing, now team are both equal in picking and counterpicking, you will get used to it.

Hi, I'm writing this because i'm frustrated and pissed off, so while choosing the heros, after the ban i selected WK, i was about to chosse after support both pick, but the other team choosed WK too and the system did not tell them was double picked i was expecting the system will ban WK, but they were able to picked and not me, do u see any explanation? because it happen to me when i chosse hero the system banned saying double picked, but not this time they were able to picked the WK while im also selecting it. Thanks!

I expect some kind of draft hack. It happens way more than it should.

Or else it's matchmaking choosing players based on hero pick which seems like an unfair thing for devs to do. Matchmaking based on expected picks deeper than the role makes ranked matches unfair because it gives an unfair advantage to players that counter later in draft.

I saw something like this last year where I was picking warlock every game and getting an enemy mid ta every game. And she shreds golems. And never once got a ta on my team.

It may be because you’re picking meta heroes and getting doubled a lot.

Also if you have public MM data, people can see your recently played heroes/top heroes with over wolf Dota plus and ban/pick accordingly.

I don't see sf in 18% of games, so I think theres something to it. If I didn't have a bkb piercing stun I probably would right

maybe because when i pick i got my hero banned because of double picking but when they pick the same what can i do to make it double picking, maybe i don t understand how it works
