Carry Heroes as Hard Support: New Meta?
When i decided to play safe or offlane or smth like not supporting, my team supports always be carry heroes.
Look at my last games, hard support sniper, hard support weaver, hard support invoker(it was not bad tho)
And so toxic players as well. My rank wasnt changed but is it new meta to play hard carry heroes as hard support and ruin the game?

Do you even play support yourself to ground your claims? I am divine 1 support, so yes I will say there are chances I have a more global comprehension than you. You said what were his perks, I tell you what are his flaws. Maybe pros are bored and they want to experiment. Maybe they only what to exploit the meta and pick heroes who aren't intended to be sup, this is the reason why sniper shrapnel slow got nerfed in a precious patch. Do pros still play sniper pos 4 after the nerf?
yes they do. are you watching live games? OGA Pit. btw, THEY ARE PLAYING WEAVER AND SNIPER SUPPORT RN against NIP. Puppey Weaver and Yapzor Sniper. soooo yes. i have ground to make claims. Do pros still play sniper pos 4 after nerf? YES THEY DO. see for yourself. and maybe you'll understand ^_^ and BTW. they are leading in game ;)

Did they win? YES. They just did. 30:44 with a score of 24-8
Is it still viable. Obviously since a pro team just lost to it.

No I don't watch live games. I don't like losing my time like that because I won't try to copy "pro" players. Although I may check their game and see if it is as successful as you claim it to be. You make assumptions based on one game you saw, not even played by you. I saw pathetic moves and choices in pro games, it doesn't mean anything to me.

Consider that many complains from the solo queue result from the very nature of that queue: getting matched with random strangers out of a player pool where people like to queue solo. Now you may list some reasons for that preference for solo gaming and attribute typical behavior patterns to it. Most complains are pointing into the direction make playing with random strangers like playing with friends. And then my natural advice is, hey, there already is an option to play with friends but you have to put some effort in it.

As I like to give some real life examples. Most complains from solo queue are like make my grapefruit taste like a strawberry instead of going straight for the strawberries.

Solo queue doesn't mean no teamplay. It means less coordination for sure. But people are complaining about griefers not about not having maximum coordination. Your only solutions to griefers is premades? So you don't even think it is possible to deal with them in the first place? I'm convinced the report system can make it better in the long run.

Dota is not a strawberry.
It's not the only solution but a straight forward solution without any help needed from the developers or the solo queue part of the community, which is not well known for their altruistic behavior.

The reporting system is a community feed-back based system. If griefing from time to time is a tolerated behavior or social standard it doesn't get punished anymore. People play in a peer group where they have the chance to set social standards of their own and they do. From many complaints here you know what the actual standards are.

I'm open to any changes in the reporting system, from no reports at all to infinite reports to everybody. But the developers shouldn't invest all their efforts into behavior issues. The focus was much to much on behaviour over the past years. Time to focus on other more important aspects of the game like competitive gaming in lower leagues, beginner tutorials, summer schools, lobby system for matchmaking, new heroes, rewards for playing etc.

Dota isn't a grapefruit either.
