Ban duration reset

Hey,
I have pretty bad net and sometimes I fail to join the match. Atm my ban duration is 1 hour. I was wondering how long does is take to reset it back to 5 minutes. I couldn't find anything on the internet (or post was from 2014). Does anyone know anything about it?

They dont anymore. Now it will keep counting up everytime you abandon.

I have had abandoned games and every time it's only a 5 minute ban because they're spaced so far apart. 25 games at a minimum between abandons keeps you within the grace abandon period so you don't get Low Priority. I think the cooldown system works similar to CSGO but I've never been on the wrong end of it so I don't know how long it actually takes to "reset" back to the 5 minute ban for abandon. The higher your warning/report level and ban duration, the longer it will take though obviously.

I missed the ready up 2 times cuz my friends were inpatient and didnt w8 for me then my power went off got 12h left of my 1d ban, this is the first time it has ever been more than 5min, so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scared my dota days will be ended by my friends being inpatient

Dota 2 wont give you permaban based on 3 disconnects ot fails to ready up. I would assume that if you now play 1 full conduct summary without disconnects or fails to ready up (25 games) you should be back to 5 min. Maybe even sooner.

You failing to ready up isn't your friends' fault. Don't join a party queue if you're not ready to queue. Why would you accept a party invite and then leave the computer? A 1 day ban indicates that this isn't the first time you've abandoned games or failed to ready/connect either. But it's still a long way off from a 6 month or a permanent ban.

I have a problem with connecting to pre-match(hero selection) since this new patch, sometimes i dont connect in those 20sec u have(bad pc), is there anything i can do to shorten up that time? Internet connection is excelent btw so thats not a problem.
