so if you drop below 600 mmr, your medal will be herald 5
For example I got my legend 2 medal at 3240 mmr and even if I dropped to 3020 recently I'm still legend 2.
The mmr range goes from 0 to 10k mmr (I think someone went back to 10k mmr recently) and there 7 medals with 5 stars plus the immortal ranks.
Stars are in average 200 mmr appart.
herald 1 0 mmr
herald 2 154 mmr
herald 3 308 mmr
herald 4 462 mmr
herald 5 616 mmr
guard 1 770 mmr
or it s bugged cuz of updates

if you played ranked classic then all mmrs should be same, yellow.
Thanks chris!
By the way, I've seen MMR 10040 by Arteezy recently
Yeah that's what I tought lol thx for the info! The first person to reach 10k mmr was a while ago and then many person got beyond 10k, but not so long after they introduced ranked season so now you recalibrate every 6 months and they can't calibrate that high. So the run to 11k was made nearly impossible because when you have that much mmr is takes hours to find matches sometimes.
Anyway:

You are right. I made my calcul according to 10k, but that was innacurate since people under immortal can't be over 6k I guess...
I think i restart dota along with steam thrice or more now. Still the same. guess they wanna keep my MMR up
