[MEEPO] Boots of Travel / Nerfs

Hey Valve!

I'd like to complain about the changes affecting Meepo. While I understand Meepo could be nerfed a bit, I am not happy that you do it by breaking Meepo playstyles. Namely, the nerf to Boots of Travel. Meepo clones only can have one single item. Only one: boots. Now Boots of Travel are basically useless to Meepo. The change has tremendous implications.

I get it that you want to nerf BoT and keep people from TP scroll'ing to base then BoT back in the fight. But instead of taking away the BoT active, why don't you just put BoT and TP scoll on the same timer? For Meepo, this completely break his BoT playstyle which is one of the fundamental advantages of playing Meepo. It totally characterizes the hero.

I'm OK with nerfing Meepo. But do it in a way that doesn't totally break one of his playstyles, take out the fun and reduce gameplay options. I don't know, nerf stats for a harder early game or smth like that. But this change is absurb.

They did it because just about every hero would buy them late game and use tp scroll to defend base then immediately turn around and use BoTs to push.

You can still have threads and double stats. Meepo is strong enough already and not supposed to be tinker.

this was specifically designed to nerf heroes who could defend and push repeatedly while also buffing heroes who are built to push and defend (Nature, io, Tinker)

edit: hell this is techically a buff for meepo if you aren't one of those turds who sends all his clones at once since it means you can poof travel just like a nature prophet... kinda.

As a player who only knows to abuse meepo bots saying (me) what ever hurt meepo is fine he is highest winrate in the game

Disagree. Being able to be a tinker has ALWAYS been part of Meepo's game. But it's never a viable early item. So you can't actually play it with the same timing as tinker. It's more a late-game thing when Meepo effectiveness falls off.

Killing this playstyle is just wrong imho

You obviously don't play Meepo. It's nothing near what it used to be at all. This defeats one of the main long-standing advantages of the hero :P

Yeah, I said it in my post already that I knew what they were trying to achieve. And I proposed a different solutions that doesn't kill Meepo playstyle options.

Its still not enough meepo needs more nerf
This is not enough
You are in the winning side and you are sad

Meepos should deal 60 precent dmg to tower

BoT is only a late game buy and replace treads when Meepo has enough AGI. Though, before 7.00, BoT could viable be bought as first item.

I'm just going to dismiss your hateful and ignorant comment. There are plenty of other ways to nerfing hero without having to kill its essence and playstyle.
