It may be a good idea to raise plank to 300-500 hours, if we look how this players play.
So these 100 hours are not worthless in terms of ranking. For those who never even needed mmr to get their dopamine I really don't see why 100 hours would be a problem...
I have done 3.5k hours and still feel like a noob in some games i play
100 hours is not that much. Ranked is incredibly complex and we have a smurfing problem so that's why it exists.
upd: you don't need ranked as a newbie. rank points give you nothing. you may still be awfully bad having 5k or incredibly good at dota with 1k. Rank points mean only your luck with teammates (as 3-5 roles) or your dedication to it (1-2 pos)
It's 100 hours in match. Most matches are less than 1 hours, some are even less than 40 minutes. I think 100h end up being more than 100 games.
