How to counter Monkey King? and also How to counter back?

at first, I thought Monkey King so agile/hard to catch, but after I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gJzdVTHdGM&t=443s
I change my mind.
this hero is countered just by slow (can't hit 4 times) + damage overtime (can't jump to trees cause cd). No need to disable this hero (like AM or weaver)

so, I think this hero is pretty much like sven, when you initiate the enemy, the enemy must die, otherwise you gonna get kited so hard with slow, force staff, disable, etc.

high armor hero like axe blademail also counter this hero, if you are a pretty straight forward guy, but make sure that your 1st skill is active when monkey's 4th attack land.
I think blademail is pretty good against this hero, cause he's str growth pretty standard (+2.2).

storm spirit also counter this hero, by always having flying vision from 1st skill, it's not for early game ofc, you won't have mana for constant 1st skill.

to solve this slow + overtime damage problem, I think echo saber and force staff/huricane pike are quite good on monkey king.
how about disable? --> well, orchid gonna solve it.

my thinking on how Monkey King should be played:
1. Ganking --> it's obvious. his skill set is for ganking. anyone alone without slow + DoT, disable, force staff for escape is pretty much dead.
2. Team Fight --> this hero is perfect for sneaking into enemy backline (support), cause not many game mechanic are made to detect something on top of the trees (well this tree thing is new for dota 2). by having an orchid, you can silent enemy support and then ♥♥♥♥ them (you can do this pretty easy in the middle of chaotic team fight when their core is busy in frontline).
3. to prevent smoke plays. you can just stand somewhere on top of the trees if you see enemies missing. well, don't do this if enemy have trees detection, especially storm, he gonna ♥♥♥♥ you.

about role:
1st role --> no way, bad attack animation.
2nd? --> oh well, he's a melee, that pretty much sums it up.
3rd --> well, this hero needs level, you can have that in offlane pretty easy. just stand on top of the trees, leeching XP.
4th --> the first thing that popped up in my mind when I see this hero skill set is JERAX and CR1T. this is the proper hero for them to wreck havoc in early games, just like earth spirit.
5th --> nahhh, what a waste. this hero is very good in scaling into late game. I can't imagine PPD play this.

well, sniper ♥♥♥♥ monkey in mid lane.
but, if I'm the monkey, I'm just gonna be patient, getting levels, until I can make my move. or I just let other people pick mid. Monkey take 3rd or 4th role.
later, sniper gonna need huricane pike asap for dodging monkey sneak attack.

that's pretty good. plus, early game, monkey can't see invis heroes. you won't become monkey's food.
