i tink dota 2 not very attractive to many new ppl because of the long play time... most ppl cannot afford/ not interested in long play hour...
also every thing in this game is very unfriendly for solo player... everything is made for party player (like shared courier/ items, extreme teamplay/ communication, skill combo, decision making with team, etc). i think LoL more solo friendly in term of gameplay. also dota 2 too complex to many caseual player
They have never advertised so you cant say it hasn't been successful.
Valve is a company, there is (imo) no valid reason to not advertise.
thats probably the best reason not to waste millions and millions on buying up ad space
use an adblocker.i havent seen an advert on the internet in years.i wonder how bad it is now.
Works for League of legends so you're wrong.
