Void's Chronosphere ultimate VIA Rubik's Spell steal
Hey, so I've been playing this game for over 10 years now, it has changed a lot. Beside the continuous hero modification you guys are doing to, Idk, balance the game I guess there is one more thing that bothers me. Each time I see enemy team picking massive AOE ultimate heroes, I go for Rubik, and its so annoying when I bust my ass stealing the best spells in the game just to find out that Chronosphere doesn't affect Void, moreover it give him an advantage.

Now I get the whole time-bender thing, he's like the Kronos, god of time and space of dota world but, get this, Lina is like a fire mistress, doesn't mean she's invulnerable to fire or her own spells turned against her.

Also, Clincz use to be an amazing pick of mine, 'till you guys messed up his ultimate spell, I'm sorry but it sucks. Cheers, keep up the good work!

There were a lot of small unique things about different heroes and icefrog took them away, now its Void's turn.

Or instead of saying a mechanic should be removed because you messed up since you didn't know about it you can learn and move forward.

You just can't admit to yourself that void is the only hero who is immune to his own spells, I'm done here.

What on earth are you on about? My whole point was unique=/=bad but somehow what you took away from that was me saying that it wasn't unique, that's pretty impressively wrong.

It's 10000% fair, You stole his inherent time walking ability, and you're not as qualified as he is to use it.

I think Tramadan and I made it pretty clear, its the only hero who is immune to his own spell turned against him. What about Zeus for god sake, hes a freaking legit god and he still ain't immune to lightning.
Stop being a noob, please. You're making this all look stupid.
Nobody is immune to their own spells ESPECIALLY WHEN RUBICK CAN AMPLIFY THEIR DAMAGE OF THEIR OWN SPELLS AGAINST THEM!
you've got the worst mentality you could ever own for a sore loser.

Play jakiro, +300 attack range at level ten, freeze him, done.

as said before, he walks through time at his own pace. You copied HIS Spell, not the other way round. Zeus' ulti you won't even get because he does it anywhere, globally, so your logic is the only thing that's bugged here. Not the game.

Talent trees helped everyone keep their uniqueness, and maybe get there even faster.

The point that OP is making (I think) is that no other hero is immune to their own spells being stolen. Lina isn't immune to fire, CM isn't immune to ice, etc etc. So why should void be immune to a stolen version of his ult. I'm pretty sure this is the ONLY case of a hero being immune to a spell.

FV isn't immune to the spell being stolen. The spell just doesn't work against him. It's the nature of the spell itself.

There are indeed a number of spells and abilities that cannot be stolen. You should educate yourself on the subject before posting more erroneous information.

Alright guys, you seem so educated on the matter, please name one more active ultimate spell that Rubik could not steal and / or doesn't affect the user, as is in Void's case.

Quote from https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Rubick/Spell_Steal_Interactions

"Faceless Void is immune to Rubick's Chronosphere and can freely act inside it, but does not gain the movement speed boost and other units under his control are not immune. Rubick and units under his control do not become immune to Faceless Void's Chronospheres while having Chronosphere stolen and only gain the movement speed boost in his own Chronosphere."

Did you not read the link I gave you? That's easy. Stone Remnant can't be stolen and that is an active not a passive spell. At any rate, that doesn't change the fact that Tramadan was wrong about claiming that Chronosphere can't be stolen so maybe you should direct your snide little remarks to him instead?

"Darkterror the Faceless Void is a visitor from Claszureme, a realm outside of time. It remains a mystery why this being from another dimension believes the struggle for the Nemesis Stones is worth entering our physical plane, but apparently an upset in the balance of power in this world has repercussions in adjacent dimensions. Time means nothing to Darkterror, except as a way to thwart his foes and aid his allies. His long-view of the cosmos has given him a remote, disconnected quality, although in battle he is quite capable of making it personal."

Darkterror owns jewels that allow him to pierce the flow of time, and observe a thousand seasons in a single day.[11]
Darkterror is jealous of Dark Seer's pointed head, and has tried to emulate it by binding and "focusing" his own head into a smaller size.[12]
Darkterror often makes use of chronite in his armor and weapons.[13]
Throughout time, Darkterror has taken on many different forms.[14]
Darkterror may have once been part of the Dhreg Cult, where he mastered its dogma.[15]
Darkterror is connected in some way to Nezzureme, an unknown entity.[16]
According to Puck, Darkterror is not wanted in Claszureme, and its inhabitants are relieved to be rid of him.[17]
Darkterror once owned the Claszureme Hourglass, an artifact that manipulates time. It was stolen by Mireska, although he has yet to realize it.[18]
