How to counter mana burners?

PL or Naga with diffusal and antimage with manta are so annoying for strength hero. Is there any strategy to counter mana burn specifically. Coz generally when they initiate, you might not die but you need to walk back to base cz no mana left for tp either. Carrying mango or arcane are not that effective. Any other thing?

Crimson guard is good since most STR heroes are melee.

You can also consider ghost scepter or BKB, but on a core hero, radiance or miljnoir are good too.

Yes sir! Correct. Bkb helps. I might have not asked the question correctly. What I meant was does any combo of hero or something like that which restores mana except kotl. Kotl players are just feeders in low ranks.

Defensive ways: evasion and bkb, maybe kaye or some ♥♥♥♥ they effect the mana burn aswell offensive ways: Heavens halberd, scythe, disable, disarm generally speaking. or you just make an item build/pick a hero that doesnt rely so much on mana.^^

Buy some mangos for early game, wait to use them until you need to clutch for a kill/gank. If you do well early lane then manaburn shouldn't be a huge problem for you mid-late game.

Magic immunity to stop the burn fully, evasion/blinds/disarms/ethereal/attack slow to limit attacks, CM talent and kaya varriants to reduce loss.

You can also avoid it by never being hit in the first place with evasion. Solar Shield, Radiance, Butterfly all evasion stack slightly.

solar does not grant evasion now it offers all stats, and the active brings attack speed reduction to enemies and buff to allies

For early, just get a few mangos and build up to a magic wand so you can replenish your mana.. You can also try to get a kotl on your team or a cm to get some mana back... Other than that, evasion items are good and ofcourse ghost scepter (Or pugna's decripfy). BKB can overall help you along with some other items... You can also try to get a blink + Eul, so that when you get attacked that you can eul them and blink away (Unless AM used his shield/linkens).

Bkb and ghost septer, If you are the mana burner, an abyssalblade will do good against bkb's or ghost septers. Witch will give you time to get kills. And an linkens is good against abyssal.
