Ogre Magi not multicasting forcestaff
I know the nature of this "mechanic" may prove to be chaotic in teamfights, but, shouldn't Ogre Magi multicast force staff as well? :)

Does it not? Multicast affects all offensively targeted items (so anything that targets enemy units). Should work with Forcestaff and Hurricane Pike just fine, so long as you're targeting an enemy and not yourself or an ally. Multicast affects Urn and Spirit Vessel too, but again, only if you target an enemy. Using either of those items on an ally won't trigger Multicast, and Multicast triggers of said items can't target friendly units.

Oh I see, got it, will try that out. I though it would target random targets (like ally and enemy creeps or ally and enemy heroes at the same time)
Well, I guess it makes it a more reliable item them lol
Might be a little too broken. Having someone move 3600 units is massive.

The multicast already work on items, it just cast at different targets at the same time. Same thing for dagon (example).

But that's what I mean. Dagon is fine since it's burst magic damage that can be mitigated by various sources, same with most other point and click items. However, the chance to move a unit 3600 units is too much of an advantage in a fight, that's what I meant by "probably too broken".

To put this into perspective: Chronosphere is roughly 800 units in radius. So multiply that radius by 4.5 and you can see how bonkers a multicast force staff could be.

It technically cant move 1 unit that far away because who the multicast forcestaff moves is random.

Ah that's true. For some reason I had it in my mind it affected one person when it wouldn't since literally nothing else does that.

Still, 900 movement for 4 units is scary

That is what Water Vapor Merchant said in the first reply, it does may affect 4 units right now, but only when targeting enemies.

What I tried to mean with the dagon example is that there is a limit of multicast per target. You can only hit an item once per target per cast, it works different from heroic skills, and it seems that it does not multicast when casting on allies.

P.S.: Btw, I have to try that out with pike lol, best teamfight save item ever?
FUS HO DA!!!
