Is Mid disruptor good?
I mean I am 2k mmr, I laned vs a morphling and won with 22/6/20

The Thunderstrike has an amazing damage output that helps you to get farm in lane&harrass, if your mid enemy is stupid you can glimpse him back if he TPs after he died, and once you have octarine combined with your lvl 20 talent where you have an 8 times thunderstrike intervall + the reduced cooldown you can spam that and heal up during the teamfight. Not to mention once you got aga with your ultimate. Might even consider a Blink dagger in the future for better initiation.
At the end of the game my rightclick damage was above 200, if i would have gotten the bloodthorn it would have been even more dps with all the abilities.

the only times when morph killed me in lane, was when i did a mistake and my ultimate was on cooldown, which allowed morph to dive my tower(which can be easily fixed if you have good teammates that would react with a quick tp,

By your logic, when I lane with my axe, nature's prophet, or treant protector or Doom on mid and I win them, it must be because the hero is good on mid.

Answer is no, Disruptor can't capitalize a lot from a good mid and snowball there on unless your whole team can push with him I suppose. Besides the point Morph is a bad mid. He has no walking speed and his real options to win a mid is to deny everything he can and roll a bottle with a lot of stats, roll to agi heal up, roll back up to a lot of str rinse and repeat and never die out.

I don't think either Disruptor or Morph are good mids.

cant capitalize? im not sure what you mean by that. I guess in higher mmr people would get rather quickly a bkb which renders dis ulti useless until he has an agha

Since the mid would get an exp experience advantage over the other lanes, the mid hero is usually one that benefits a lot from getting higher levels quickly. For example invoker or zeus, since getting higher levels mean they are a ton stronger than a Juggernaut with higher level for example.

Disruptor on the other hand does not benefit from the extra levels as much, and he would be rendered as a pos5 support later on anyways. Even something like Rubick mid is more viable, since you would get a rubick with insane stun durations (passive + Q)

you think so? for example Disruptors lvl 25 talent with the cooldown reduction for kinetic field, he basically can spam kinetic field which makes every hero without bkb unable to move, he gets incredible Crowd control capabilities, besides that with aga dis has an AOE Item Mute. Which placed properly, means a teamwipe.

Just think about thunder strike, with 8 intervalls, each hitting every 2 seconds with an aoe damage of 160, means 16 seconds constant damage, with octarine the cooldown is about 7 seconds, so you'll have up to 2 Thunderstrikes all the time, that heal you constantly and provide vision on the target even if they run away, during that you can cast 1-3 Kinetic fields limiting the enemies teams movement extremely, (or if you took the glimpse cooldown reduction glimpse people away) not to mention a bloodthorn and the rightclick damage a disruptor has at that point of the game.
Just saying that he might not be good in all games, but i think he has his niche... but well i might be wrong, i'll just try him out for several games.

I got a rule. If it seems stupid, but it works...its not stupid.
It can work is some cases i believe, but not in all. Like if you pick tinker and they get Sky, you are just useless then. So even if you dont get items and farm from lane, but you make enemy unable to stay at lane and farm, you did your job and you did it good.

I sometimes play Lion mid, and most people will say "youre an idiot" at very start. But once you see that that pick can be good against particular enemy hero, you go and make it work..then amazing sh.it happen. I with Lion-Mid have some ridiculous scores, like 20, 30 FOD kills, and aghs in minute 13.

So yeah, if its stupid but it works, its not stupid.

2k issue. Morph cannot lane mid vs any strong nuker so that lane was an autolose. You could replace disr with Zeus or Lina or whatever with the same result. On higher mmr Jugger would've swapped with morph and you would've lost the lane.
