Dota 2 MAC | Game does not launch

I've suddenly been unable to launch dota 2. I try to play it and it tells me its running, then nothing...

I've tried to restart my laptop, uninstall and install dota 2 and steam, -autoconfig, verify integrity of game files...

What else can I do?

Ok, fine, so far only ONE person has posted their specs, so I’m going to operate under the assumption that everyone has the same specs until the “same here” nonsense stops...

Review your Console application to view your system logs. Find the error associated with dota2.app and post it here.

Wow amazed with your solution idea, after your insistence on "system specs". Did you really need to learn about our "system specs" for this brilliant idea? Some more specifications with the solution maybe??

I got the solution. Go to:
/Users/Mamed/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/dota 2 beta
find dota.sh and launch it via terminal

Ah..i dont have any folders called" Steam" in the folder Application Support

find dota.sh and launch it via terminal

That works for me!!

to me the file is under /Users/myusername/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/dota 2 beta/game

and then enter ./dota.sh to launch the game

There seems to be an ongoing problem with mac client. Starting Dota 2 only starts the game for 6-7 seconds without any visual of the game and then closes the app without any error.
