Stop playing, save yourself the trouble.
Im also slowly stopping, it's unplayable in this state
Ranked and Turbo but mostly Turbo right now for the easy gold tokens they get fed.
Smurfs and boosters ruin the experience of the game, it's because of people like you that valve doesn't do anything about it
so u loose to a smurf , relax download the replay, study his actions, you may actually find your mistakes, your partner mistakes, or you may find if the dudewas actually a master player, watch his building timing, last hitting all of that...
If you take any public match as it is however, a casual mixed skill video game for fun and pleasure, it‘s ok.
Half of the streamers at twitch e.g. play on public on their 2nd or 3rd accounts. The community and Valve accept or at least tolerate that and pub players learn from it. But while smurfing isn‘t a real problem in the upper 1% of the player base it ruins the „fair“ matchmaking in pubs.
However that doesn’t mean that you can‘t have fun in Dota2. Just don‘t take it to serious and you are fine.
Arteezy has a billion smurfs and they are all 1 rank below each other, there is no problem with that.
Smurfs that are low rank on purpose is what ruins it
Even if you don't care about mmr, you try to have a fun fair match that is ruined by a meepo last pick booster that ends the game in 20
It's like saying you can have fun, just dont take it serious, while everyone is 360 spinning killing you through walls in CSGO
Meaning, what you do matters to the outcome. If whatever you do is irrelevant, then there is no fun.
Who would have fun when if they play poorly or extremely good doesn't affect the result since there is a player that either carries you single handedly or stomps everyone in your team included you all on his own?.
But, the problem is a 2 part one:
1- is difficult or at least costly to catch them, let alone prevent it.
2- there is no general outrage from the community about it. Some people even enjoy to watch these smurfs stomping low MMR games.
And also, this is not about MMR, is about not being able to enjoy a match where what you do matters.
Anyway, if some day I'm pissed off to a point I dedicate resources to this, let see what happens.
It's the nature of a team game that your personal contribution to success varies from match to match. Sometimes you are the decisive player and sometimes your performance doesn't matter.
The algorithm which should bring fair matches, matching two equally strong teams against each other is Elo based. Mainly the matchmaking rating factor is intended to feed that algorithm.
However since it has been made public in 2013 and became a kind of substituation for the missing rewards in the game it was subject to manipulations more and more. Now mmr is just a number and matchmaking is kind of unreliable.
Also Elo based matchmaking is designed to match two premade teams against each other. It is not ideal to match random strangers to form a team with predictable performance.
The vast amount of solo players will ruin this dedicated team game on the long run.
That Epic games store sounds more and more appealing.

This is an account being boosted right now by some lifeless loser playing meepo or brood. Versatility 0, farming and pushing 9. Previous rank Herald now Archon.
They just wait for last pick and go meepo or brood every game to push as fast as possible and then the kids they boosted end up in our games trolling and feeding and breeding toxicity.
And they are not even nerfing those trash OP heroes.
its the same on all levels.rich kids buying up to 7k accounts for 2k euro.i know some guys who make these acoounts and earn a nice living from it.there so rich they top up if they loose alot of mmr. They learn to play the game at the top level.
