The trick is to not go solo. Nyxs job is to pick off solo heroes, and you aren't meant to survive such encounters. If you must go off alone, ensure you've got a Linken's or a lotus, he will break his invis for the bonus damage before he attempts to stun you, that gives you a good second to react.
Euls + Blink may also be enough if he's bad at timing his stun.

As somebody who plays Nyx more than I should, just play any kind of remotely tank non-int hero. He doesn't have much damage without mana burn. If he gets aghs, you now know exactly where he is, immobile and easily detectable with sentries. The worst thing ever is an Earthshaker. Nyx has effectively only his e vs Es.

IMO, best way to counter hero that want to "sudden-strike" you is, use Linken Sphere. Linken Sphere is a very good item for you to make a next move to avoid the purpose of sudden-strike on you. That's why heroes like Morphling or Weaver usually need this. If Morphling don't have linken sphere to cover a sudden targeting nuking on him (when morphling is in AGI form), then he might face death before turning himself back to STR form or high hp hero. Weaver also might face death if an enemy suddenly disable (hex or stun) him and then give a big direct nuking damaging before Weaver can use Time Lapse. If you have Linken Sphere, Nyx cannot do anything good on you when you have escape item or skill. Don't tell you want to be solo without preparing yourself with escape item or skill. If you wanna be solo without preparing yourself, then that is a solo-type player who is selfish or has no teamwork already. Time to face lose if want to solo and selfish without teamwork ~_~"
