1 Hour ban from Custom Games after it wouldn't connect

I got disconnected at the start of the custom game, clicked reconnect about 5 or 6 times, it would say "connecting" and then never connect. Then when I pressed Leave Game I got banned for 1 hour.

Having same issue but in ranked matchmaking..bad servers everywhere

Go to watch tab and enter any game before searching if you have this issue with your mom nternet often.

everyone's having this issue and its been happening for over a week.
ppl have been making posts about it on here and on reddit but steam doesn't seem to want to or know how to address the issue.

at this rate their playerbase will be perma banned by their own faulty servers lol


i'm sitting on a 1gb internet connection that never dc's, for 240$ a month you can have one too. this happened to me twice today. it's not my internet, it's dota servers.

i'm not referring to loading, then pick phase, then i get kicked. that's not what's happening.

i queue, game goes 10 outta 10 and then it doesn't even try to connect to the server.

would it just coincidently lose internet the second it went 10/10? my isp? it's obviously server issues that they refuse to address.

this isn't an issue with my isp, if that were the case then i wouldn't be connected to the internet when that happens. even if i'm receiving packet loss, it would subside momentarily and let me 'reconnect" but that's not the case here.

the issue is it wont even attempt to connect to the game that i queued for, went 10/10 people ready'ing up, and then it doesn't even try to connect and then 10 seconds later my play button turns red.

Feel free to link it here where people from every server saying have connection problem yesterday.

Talk with data and screenshot. Without it everything will only become story without proof. Like i said its your isp problem not dota 2 server problem. If server have problem the players wont be able to connect at all to the server. And that has happened when dota2 in beta in 2012.
