Auto attacks
I noticed that sometimes there is a glowing dot that circles around the auto attack icon on Vipers poison attack for example. My question is what do they do and how do you get it.

P.S. I'm a noob

He meant turning the hero first skill into auto-casting the poison attack. You just need to hold ALT and press key for that skill. Eg. if your poison attack is "Q", then press ALT + Q. Next you don't need to keep pressing "Q" to cast it. Same thing can be done to Drow Ranger's Frost Arrow too. But I usually don't activate that because it wasting my mana.

If not, they are visual indicator that the hero has an added effect when they attack, so you can tell what about to hit you based from the type of glow or visual effect there is

ALT key can be used for self-cast or double-click for self-cast. Eg: if you play Bloodseeker and lazy to double-click your Bloodrage button, you can hold ALT + your Bloodrage button. If Bloodrage button is "Q", then just go ahead with ALT + Q.

Oh, okay, some attack modifiers to remain auto casting you can 'RIGHT-CLICK' it for it to auto cast as long as you like or as long as you have mana to cast it
