make your status to offline is the only way to hide it.
that's....quite disappointing. going offline whenever I play the game that's gonna raise some question.
Hiding your match data doesn't really hide it either. I can see your recent Vengeful match and Lion before that and I'm not even on your friendlist.
aw that's even worse. I'm all with tracking my mmr or stats for the public to see, but that is a bit too intrusive. For the complete noob me, that doesn't feel like encouraging me to play more, quite disheartening.
Idk, i think I'm just gonna stick with bots. That is if it's not out on the web as well.
Bot games can be seen too. Your game history can be seen on pretty much any other moba too.
What does it matter? You're not a pro player? Okay, less than 1% of the playerbase are legitimate professional Dota players so guess what, you're in good company with the majority of Dota 2 players.
That won't prevent people from seeing his matches. His match history is already set to private and I can see his matches. That doesn't hide your matches the way people think it does.
Whew that's a lot to take. It's starting to creep me out. I'm already aware that anyone can look up who I am and my personal identity from across the time zone, but this is just too much.
It's a personal preference, and I'm insecure about it. Think I'm good with Dota 2 for now. Warcraft dota was a blast and that's why I'm trying this one.
You left out the most important part of my post, being that less than 1% of the playerbase are legitimate professional Dota players. The majority of Dota 2 players suck just as much as you do. However much you think you suck, I guarantee there are people who suck a bejillion times more than you do at Dota 2. Hell, I lost a few games stuck on Chen for my all hero challenge before I won it. It wasn't pretty. I suck at micro and I suck at Chen.
I guarantee that for anyone who wants to call you out for having a crappy game, they've got plenty of their own crappy games themselves.
People have literally been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this since the game sense thing got added to discord.
I get what you were saying, that's why I said It's a matter of personal preference. Whether someone cares or not it's still out there. Getting judged or being called out is a given I believe and that's not always a problem for me. Just wanting to be under the radar and have fun at my own solitude.
Yes you did, thanks for that but shout out to BossGalaga I've learned a more important information than what I previously asked and it turns out that what I was trying to do is barely touching my issue, I guess that's a bonus.
