Only time I've had to deal with massive DDoS is with DOTA2, it's probably built in harassment as a feature.
- In game, check your ping (lower is better), by typing: -ping
- Check if the other players are from countries miles away. If so, try to keep distance from them while farming at least, such as swapping lanes.
- If you are wireless, consider wired (ethernet cable CAT 5e or 6), as that will help greatly with packet lost.
- If there's quite a bit of mic chat or open mics, try muting the player's voice and ask them to type instead. Voice chat can also cause some lag outs.

If it was a DDOS attack...
Log into your Router admin and check it's logs.
You might find [DoS attack: ACK Scan] or similar noted there, depending on your router model. It should give you a source IP address, which in that case you can file a report against. Do a WhoIS IP Address lookup on those IP Addresses, if unknown server or local IP, report them to:
https://www.abuseipdb.com/
If serious, report them to (note the Internet Crime Complaint Center I3C, works with CIA and FBI to do takedowns or legal court cases):
https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Note: A DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attack requires multiple Servers/PCs as a BotNET to send packets to the victim target. In this case, there will be many IP Addresses, you send the entire router log of that abuse. If it's just a single IP Address, then it's a DoS attack.
The smart evils use zombie networks, which means they have to replace them after getting reported. It's bothersome to organize ddos because you need quiet a lot of computers.
There is a reason why ddos attacks became extremly popular. The most wanted targets are service provicers because they pay dearly for traffic.
In worst case these attacks are still considered legitimate traffic and you just pay a lot of money for unnecessary traffic use or they blow up your max cap and your service shutdown. Your customers wont like it if they visit your website and just find out it's offline or lagging.
What people often do however is find your name in skype (if it matches ur steamname) and attack from there.
Make your skypename smtin else then ur steamname, worked against that stuff in LOL atleast.
If I have indeed played that many hours with toxicity I guess it can't be toxic at all. It's more likely that you fill the spot of the toxic image which is projected upon me. But that makes sense. So you took the time and went through my post history, any other history? Maybe a few cookies? You know, too much of that teenage behaviour can land you restraining orders.
Trolls, I've managed to attract the ire of some of these creatures and each with their own idea about the concept. From what I've learned, trolls begin bonding with pretty harmless pranks which in turn escalates behaviour and triggering of eachother and higher and higher tolerance to pranks which turns into degrees of socially problematic behaviours with acts of sadism being the least noteworthy.
Would you feel like we actually have anything in common if I picked russia instead of my native sweden as a nation so you can feel we have something in common, something to amplify this... dellusional connection you seem to think we have. I don't care much for nations.
Shame? I don't think so, only the middle, I like ham.
Now it makes sense.
Not sure if it was a ddos attack.
