3.99$ for ONE MONTH(DotA Plus) is more expensive than 9.99$ for 3+ Months (Battle Pass)
With less content, just a glorified walkthrough. lol valve

I'm wondering if Valve WANTS Dota 2 to die........
you know that most people that have brains won't actually use the assistant, and also know that $4 a month for 12 months is $48, and buying 4 $10 battle passes, is not that much more expensive. Not to mention that + members get sets, treasures, cosmetics, seasonal terrains, and challenges. It is literally the same thing as a battle pass, with unlimited duration. You are complaining for no reason.

What treasures/sets/cosmetics are you even talking about? Each 10$ Battle pass gave you 3 sets of treasures, ONE treasure per 10 LEVELS. When you buy the next battle pass, you get 3 DIFFERENT sets of treasures PLUS the sets at the end of the Quest paths. Not to mention the Rylai Spin.

DotA Plus lets you FARM for ONE of five sets for shards.

In the same 3 months for paying 9.99$(BP) or 12$ (DOTA PLUS), in the BP you get at the very least level 60 = 6 treasures + the 1 that comes at level 1 + Spins + The 3 Sets at the end of each Quest Path. Cursors, Music Packs, Announcers, Couriers.

DotA plus only gives you what? Seasonal Terrain and 5 sets to farm for, for 2$ more.

It's hardly "the same thing"

If enough people whine at the Devforum and Reddit, maybe Valve will realize that nobody wanted this Garbage, and wanted the Battlepass.

I don't find the Dota Plus worth buying since it's not really rewarding for me. If you have enough knowledge of the game and how items work you just have to work on gaining experience and adapt to different situation on the game such as strats, plays and itemization of your team and opponent. If you are a thinking being then you would be able to analyse and do what is best for the team if you want to win since in the first place this is a team game. Also I think this move might make some negative impact since the people who bought the item they would keep relying on the guides and might sometimes force their teammates to do the same eventhough their teammates know what they're doing. Where's your initiative to learn the game if you keep relying on these type of gimmick then good for you. If you're the type of person who gets really competetive and think that the dota plus is worth buying to show off your achievements and such then by all means buy it. To each their own.
This is just my take on the matter.

You have your own definition of Dota 2.

You don't need to copy paste your comment on every thread.

It's not that you're not allowed to post your opinion, but you literally just copy pasted your comment from another thread. That's spam.

I know I am an old player. And their resistance to change and their entitlement plays such a big role on it's toxicity. Not speaking strictly about Dota Plus, just my experience over the years. :)

TBH, let people who want to buy the thing buy it. If a newbie or low rank player want immediate help without needing the aid of boosters/sellers, I think that is a win for the community. At least with this, they may actually learn how to play (the death summary is a great help to show you what you do wrong). Heck even if a player who already know a lot about the game wants to get it, then who cares?

The point is that it's not worth the money.

Atleast the Battlepass was well worth the 10 bucks.Dota Plus is worth nothing but a pile of trash.

I'd give Valve 1 Cent at most for a 500000 year sub of Dota Plus. Not a penny less, not a penny more.
