Players must link a unique phone number to their Steam account in order to queues ranked matches.
Phone numbers can be removed or changed, but there is a three month waiting period before the same phone number can be used again on any account.
Players must be at least level 20.
Parties with any player below the Profile Level requirement will not be able to queue for ranked matches.
Players must play 10 trial games for the system to calibrate their MMR.
Calibrated MMR cannot be higher than 3500. Players more skilled than that threshold must work upwards from this limit.
Players in Low Priority cannot queue for ranked matches.
Parties with any player in Low Priority will not be able to queue for ranked matches.
Coaches are not permitted in ranked matches.
Parties with members whose MMRs are 2000 or more apart are unable to queue for ranked matches.
Any form of Abandonment will incur full penalties for the entire party.
Any player who abandons will automatically receive a loss, regardless of the match's outcome.
Can i please ask a question, i just wanted to know, i have done all of the above instead of being level 20. it now states 100 matchmaking games are needed to be played to be able to unlock ranked match making....is this just 100 unranked all pick games? or am i missing out on something?
Anyway it is not good to calibrate for ranked as soon as possible. If you are not a smurf try to level out your skill before you do your calibration matches.
Dota 2 punishes new players like this because experienced players like to create 2nd accounts and smurf in open play (play against people of much lower skill)
The answer is in the very first post. "Players must be at least level 20" It doesn't matter how many matches you play. You need to be level 20 in-game. Turbo matches give less xp. Co-op Bot matches give less xp. Solo bot matches and custom games give no xp at all. Until you reach level 20, ranked will be locked.
So, what the real terms are:
1. Level 20
2. Have a phone number registered on the account
IF ONLY (just an "IF"), 1 match can give you EXP to 20 instantly + you already have the phone number. Ranked will unlocked?
my problem is i put a new number but cannot acces its my new number dota 2 said my number its already use? what happen? i cannot play rank game so please help me...
