I dropped 3000 mmr after calibration in new season!!!

Hey guys, I got a big problem with calibration. I had 7000 points, divine 5 top 200 approximately right before calibration. I played 10/10 games and got Ancient 2 rank with 4000 points. In all of my games i had godlike, beyond godlike streak, so I think the problem was not in my gameplay because i played perfect and won 9/10. What is this unfair mistake? Can Valve help me with it or explain at least what's the issue with my account.

if you're top 200, then you can do it again. The formula for calibration was changed, it's not based on performance now, just win/loss. It probably retroactively corrected your actual MMR. so again, I say, if you are top 200, should be no problem to get back there, ya?

I reckon what's happened is that it got bugged and thought you were a new player and you hit the recalibration limit, try posting on reddit though since if others are having this issue it will get upvoted and could get valve attention.

Also include your Dotabuff since it looks very strange with a ancient medal having the leaderboard rank. https://www.dotabuff.com/players/840172337

I can do it ofc, but after this i'm thinking of quitting dota 2. What do u mean retroactively corrected? I easily dominated top 1-10 rank players in my games.

If you're as good as you say you are, then you shouldn't be put down by the new recalibration rules, you should work your way back up again. Should be absolutely no problem. Quitting over that is silly. it's just a couple months to get back.
