I hate the community tho.
All of those things can make for some very cool moments.
This game provides that. In abundence.
i hate the game with all my heart.
i hate how the last two picks, even though they both have to pick, both will refuse to pick and one will even be forced random'd, and then throw the game b/c he was forced random'd.
i hate how i've put 8,000 hours into this game and am down to the mmr i calibrated at 5yrs ago
i hate how my teammates will refuse to defend rax, and would rather sit in fountain.
i hate how they call "gg" if they think they were outdrafted without even trying to win, they just mess around all game.
i hate how ranked games aren't based off your individual skill, but instead based off your "random" teammates.
i hate what dota has become, and yet im unable to quit.
edit: and while i was tabbed out of dota writing this, i tab back to my game to see my team pick 4 hard carrys and im last pick.... gg
so what do i do? ofcourse pick legion and mark jungle.
2nd edit: the 5 hard carry team won... this is what dota has become... gg valve.
3rd edit: recapping over the 5 hard carry game: your probably thinking "you won b/c you guys were more skilled, or because you had better teamwork" ... no.. rofl that wasn't the case.
void intentionally kept chrono'ing me before i got my duel off, or while i was in the middle of a duel, just so he could get the kill, regardless if i won the duel. (he also chrono'd right before sf ult went off, just so he could get the kills) SF was decent but he was playing scared, i blink in, duel, and he'd hesitate deciding if what i did was suicidal or if he should go in as well, monkey king fed... a lot, and pinged me a lot while i was afk jungling for the first 10minutes of the game. there wasn't much teamwork, and the team was fighting over kills (who could get the last hit in) and honestly, it felt super 322.
literally felt like team was throwing yet we easily won... it was kinda messed up.
pretty much like destiny 1-destiny 2
i haven't enjoyed dota prior to ti5 (before reborn)
early game he got 15 kills prior to 10min mark, it was sad. and yet that's only what? 1500 gold? 2k gold?
it's only 150g per kill... 150x15 = 2200g by 10min mark..
meanwhile last hitting in lane if you dont miss any last hits, that's over 4k gold...
kills dont really mean sht these days. unless ur the one on a rampage, then if u die u basically throw the game.
edit: i miss the days where you could snowball, where you got mmr based on your solo individual skill,
rather than ..
"Group up!!!!!" and after begging and pleading with them, they finally group up so you can push.
10min mark: group up. take all t1's, t2's, rosh, end game. it's not hard to do. that's how you win this meta.
