Can someone please explain Anti-Mage to me from a lore perspective?

He doesn't make any sense at all when I read his stuff. The Monks had techniques in their dogmatic scrolls that AM modified to be able to burn mana out of people, he has the ability to teleport via Blink, and can manipulate mana with Mana Void. Yet none of that is magic? If it's not magic, what is it? To say that it's "purity of will" makes no sense because that voice line only ever comes up when AM respawns, and resurrection is an ability used on Heroes by the Ancients, is it not?

Is he a psychic? Is he a mutant? Is he just nonsense?

To purge evil, one must become evil. They invented guns to combat swords, then they made those better, eventually making mortars, tanks and aircraft... and so forth. In order to eradicate evil, you must become the ultimate evil. That is true justice!
