As pointed out already, there have never been any automatic or monthly/bimonthly LP resets. There have been resets on very rare occasions for certain major updates. If you want to wait for the unannounced Dota 2 Re-Reborn, then there's a slightly chance that LP might be reset but I wouldn't count on it.

I know, they can't possibly determine the reason I quit so it's fair, but having no expiration is a ♥♥♥♥ move. I wasn't kidding when I said it takes over 10 hours, and most games are really frustrating. All that just for abandoning TURBO match, that's ridiculous.

Your last played game was in Low Priority, 2 months ago. If your LP "expired" as you claim then you should be able to provide a matchid for your latest game in normal matchmaking.
Sure, won't be playing today but I'll provide it when I do
I believe the expiration CD is still 2 months, it happened to be 4 for me because I got a second LP.
