Sentry ward limit super bad
a limit of sentry wards is a very bad mechanic. Several heroes require a great deal of detection that only sentries can provide. Dust can be dispelled or neutralized with some abilities. A gem is both costly, limited, and vulnerable to loss. Sentries did provide a reasonable solution, but no longer.

Techies, Riki, Bounty Hunter, Nyx, and the myriad of ward locations now require rather careful selection to protect, and that selection can very often be not enough with the limits.

It's not enough, especially late game when a team has to transition from defensive wards to offensive for high ground rather quickly. This is a buff for invisible heroes and Shadow blade heroes, and they didn't need buffs.

10 sentries is plenty especially if you look at the replenish time and how long each one lasts..the limit will only punish low skill players.
If you know how to play the game and deal with invis heros you shouldnt need to spam sentries over entire map.

Another way of looking at it is that there are several heroes who are very easily countered by a plentiful and relatively cheap item, making those heroes frustrating to play. Now you have to think more about your ward placement, and countering those heroes is more cerebral and less of a simple gold-sink.

also, always de-ward before warding, so that leaves even less wards free.

If you're transitioning from defensive to offensive warding then you likely won't have to worry about the limit/refresh on sentry wards. The limit/refresh time will mean that you have to make more strategic decisions when warding...instead of warding the entire map.

Aye its a huge benefit for supports with starting items too and the small bit of extra gold can be an extra clarity for a support.

I like that there's a limit now, it adds more depth towards the resource management aspect of this "game"

If you or your team has a good support, it wouldnt even reach the 10 limit.

This is now the Shadow blade patch, everyone buy shadow blades.

If you need dozens of sentries, you're not playing smart.
