this is very generalized because a lot of variables to address (cast time, turn rate, movement speed, role or position)... the short and skinny is play with people you feel comfortable with and practice A LOT.
just for practice sake though dont que rank/pub/turbo... play an actual full game with the bots at the variable different difficulties sets. The default scripts for them are really straight forward and its entertaining watching easy vs unfair fight... dont get cocky if you beat them on unfair (it is potato scripted). I personally use eXceptional script on unfair but even that is borderline line archon at best.
practice with bots it makes the learning curve WAY less toxic/cancer and you can always rage without being punished. it doesnt count as games played either or mess with stats. 100% controlled safe space that i fall back to from time to time to get a grip on the meta and patches.
