Why Blink Dagger doesn't have a range circle ?

I used to play HoN before i play dota2 , and portal key (same as blink dagger) used to have a range circle , when i ever wanted to use it the circle shows up and it was easy to use and jump people , but in dota2 you will have to hover on it with your mouse to know the range and then use it ... so why is that ? did the game have it before and then was removed for some reason ?

If you see yourself and enemy on the same screen you usually can jump him.

I'm pretty sure ye can turn that on in options, targeting range or someshite like that

press and hold alt too see these circles you speak of.

Nope, I have that enabled and it does not have one.

Mouse over it in your inventory and it will show the circles if you have them on in settings.

if you dont use quickcast youre able to see a arrow which switches the color from green to grey or red if your out of range or in range

Blink Dagger has a sweet spot so to say. It's range is 1200 iirc, but if you try to blink further than that it will only take you 1000 range, so the item requires a tad bit of skill, which is probably why it doesn't have the circles so easily available
