New player and i cant stand it

So i wanted to start playing dota. I found a champ that looks cool (mars) and hop into an all pick. First game i cant select him and he doesnt seem to be banned. So i abandon and go into a new game. I cant select him still (along with about half of the champs) but i can select elder titan. Im really holding back how pissed i am and i wont be playing this sh*t.

Afaik, you need to play 100 matches to unlock Mars.

so now i can play a random champ game and try to win just to get out of low priority q after abandoning both these games. Pathetic ui during champ select. long and tiresome ban phase. definitely made a long time unfan of me.

Some of the more complex heroes are locked for new players for 25 games. If you want to play around it, you can enable console and type in 2 commands:
developer 1
dota_new_player 0

It doesn't work in low priority though so for now you must deal with that first.

You basically can play any heroes in all pick as long those heroes doesn't banned or already picked and you played enough match, play low complexity heroes first like DK. If you keep abandon your game just because you doesn't get the hero you want you'll get an LP if you play on pubs. Stop whining it doesn't do any good.

Mars is too complicated for players new to MOBAs, so it's not allowed. You are allowed a small list of heroes as you learn the game, It doesn't need to say it anywhere, it protects you from picking heroes too advanced for you. Play 100 games.

play with bots untill you can defeat then in hard dificulty.... do not jump into people; those abandonend matches are a penalty that reflects in the quality of players u are matched with..

First of all be grateful because in your game, league of legends, the "champs" aren't even free but in dota they are and second of all the reason you can't play those heroes is either because your in single draft, random draft or you just haven't played enough games yet that's why the game doesn't let you use it because maybe you're not trained enough because ehm(cough) you're a league player.
