stacking camp as a midlaner.
can someone explain to me how to time it properly? I often find myself between choosing the stacking and the creep wave. If I stack the camp, I'd lose 1-2 creeps.

Also, should I do it with invoker/ember? Currently, I only try to do it with shadow fiend, alchemist and medusa. I don't really play much other mid-laners.

Try to push out the wave before stacking your closest camp so you dont loose any potential cs.
Also yes, definietly try to stack camps with your forge spirit as invoker, meatball the stacks later on.

It all depends on what kind of mid hero you play. Every hero can stack it differently but more effective than others. It affects your games a lot.

SS can stack with remnant, if you are Radiant you dont need to go all the way in front of the camp to stack it, you just need to place remnant near the trees close enough to be activated by creeps. For example.

With most other heroes, i push out the wave in time, each time when i want to stack the camp or when i want to go for the rune, i try to push the wave if its needed. When i play with medusa, i usually dont use wards for vision on enemy side, i use it on camp so i can stack it more effectively and without leaving my lane, so i dont lose time nor creeps on my lane. I place ward on minute 3 in front of the camp so i can see if someone is coming from bottom to gank me, and i can stack it in time and get 3 more minutes when night comes(3 more stacks).

I mean, there is a lot of info about this, but in the end you will need to figure it out for your self and see what suits you the best.

Thanks! Couple more questions:
1) do you match your pulling and pushing with the creep wave spawn timing?
2) Sometimes I kill both camp and the wave too fast and I have 15-20sec downtime when I don't know what to do. Going to another camp means that I will miss 1-2 creeps before I come back. What to do here?
