Let me start with 4. You can change the minimap to the other side in the settings.
1. This is called the turn speed. It varies from hero to hero. It is super hard to do perfectly but pros know all the heroes turn speed and can even caluclate a 5 hp escape because they knew the other hero couldn't get them. It is part of what makes Dota harder than other mobas (there are many other things too).
2. I know man. I am sorry about this. Know that we aren't all like this.
3. I I agree. When I first started I felt very overwhelmed by everything. But you get used to it.
But the main tip I can give you is that you will get used to it in time. Just keep playing.
2 it's no worse then most other free competitive games and much better then for example Lol. It also strongly reflect your toxicity.
3 DotA is a complex game. This menu is nothing for those who play it.
4 you know that you can put minimap in the right corner, don't you?

As far as the UI, as already mentioned, it can be changed to your liking. You can adjust this in the options.
I have played league a bit before and what I gathered from it is that you're teammates will either be very friendly or very toxic.
I played HOTS for a while and it has its own aesthetic charm but speaking from a technical aspect, HOTS is like the Candy Crush of mobas. It's like LoL Jr. And the fact that Blizzard, with their not so great track record as of late, kicked the HOTS esports scene to the curb kinda drives that point home. And hell, HOTS games are over so quickly and it's so hard to die if you're a semi-competent player, that you rarely have time to bang out some trashtalk on the keyboard.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with playing a simple game for fun but if you go from HOTS into Dota 2, you're gonna have some growing pains, but if you stick with it, you will be rewarded by the complexity and depth of Dota 2.
