Is Lina a good beginner hero?

I've played a few games with Lina and gotten some kills. Do you have any hero recommendations that I should play as a beginner?

yes her mechanics are easy just don't play mid. as beginner you can lose mid lane ( can result in toxic teammate )

I'd say it's a very good beginner hero. you just have to learn how to land your stun ( W ). landing it will be easier with euls.
another reason she is good for beginners is that she has a terrible attack animation. You may ask, how is that a good thing ? it's good because it will force you to learn how to time your attacks correctly to get the last hits. Sniper on the other hand has one of the best attack animations in the game, so if you get used to it, you will find it harder to adept to the attacks of other heroes.

You can play lina both as a support or a carry. carry lina needs more last hits.

Other good heroes for beginners: Wraith king, witch doctor, drow ranger, axe and zeus.

Avoid sniper. He is a terrible hero.

I recommend Wraith king. Lina is more of a mid tier for beginners. I would suggest playing her after you know the basics of dota 2.

Well that's nice of you. I'll try these heroes for myself and see which one matches my playstyle. I haven't even learnt the basics of Dota 2 yet.

I'd advise u not to play Lina, as there are particular heroes which find their role in certain brackets. Lina needs detection, need some1 to engage or initiate 1st, she's also very squishy and on top of that in low skill bracket people are not very co-operative. A guy up there suggested really good beginner heroes, ima just paste them here again

Lina has some complex issues if you are playing as a noob. For example, as a Noob , you'll probably be playing 4th or 5th position as Lina. Yet, in team fights you will ulti and probably steal that kill reward that your carry deserves more. Moreover, Lina's stun is a bit of a hit and miss for beginners if you Eul and can't time it right.

My suggestion for beginner heroes would be Wraith King, Witch Doctor and Ogre Magi.

Phantom lancer is also extremely low skill hero and can be quite easy for new players.

Vengeful spirit is grwat to start straightforward needs not muh items can afford a death or 2

She has Mana problem, squishy, and her stun require skill. So better try lion. Same things but easier

bristleback : more survivability to play without worrying to die and learn about passive/active abilities
Wraith king:Crits, Lifesteal and he has 2 lives
