even the 5/4/3/1/2 order isn't good.
probably one of the legit strats is 5/3/4/1/2 or 4/3/5/1/2
the reason for me suggesting this order being the "best" is, if they get first pick (enemy team) then it's your turn to pick, and you lock in both supports, some supports do a good job countering other cores, so if the enemy say picks their first position early, or mid.
say their 3rd position core pick was LC, leaving your supports a spot to 3rd pick opens up a counter pick, like Dazzle, silencer, or omni. which can drastically change the outcome of the match.
5 being hard support, 4 being support, 3 being offlaner, 2 being mid, 1 being safe lane.
the reason for that order - first two supports pick to hide the roles of their cores. if they pick too early they can easily be countered (as i stated in my post above) so typically ppl will start crying if supports dont first pick.
the reason mid is last pick is b/c they typically like to counter pick, it also lets them see if the enemy's last picks will have gankers, mid's are also easily countered.
