CM frosbite doesn't stop WD ulti ?

all in the question ! i use frosbyte from CM on WD ulti but it doesn't stop it : WHY ?

roots are weird some stop channelling and some dont

I can't think of a single root ability that interrupts channeling different than a TP scroll. Any examples?

Root. Can disrupt tp and every escaping abilities but not channeling ability.
Stun. Disrupt all abilities

Root mechanics prevents movement (e.g. Skewer, TP, Blinks, Pounce) but it won't cancel Channeling spells.

All roots stop teleports, they haven't been able to stop channeled spells since the rework.
