Dota 2 Mobile

Riot Games made their move. In my opinion, Steam and Icefrog should start on theirs.

As a Dota 2 player, ya'll know how we hate LoL so much which is why I'm making this post. jk

I have been a huge fan of DotA since 2004.
I've had it as a stress reliever, hobby, a past time, and a huge chunk of my life style growing up. As I grow older, it's becoming stressful for me to play the game and really time consuming which doesn't really go with Adult-ing and responsibilities so I had to quit playing. But I still keep in touch by wayching tournaments, streams, montages of Dota 2 content which still fills up my love for the game.


This can be great for a lot of reasons:
- Will be more accessible to a larger population
Because: With a solid structure and fanbase, those who have quitted the game will be able to come back and enjoy it with less stress and limitations(wont require pc/cafe) plus everybody HAS a smartphone nowadays but not everyone has a PC capable of playing dota

- Faster phase, Lesser Stress
More people die from stress compared to smoking and alcohol. (maybe not that true but you get the point)

An actual quick fun to get you through your day.

- We can even tie this up with a lore.
Since we're going mobile, it can show how heroes are converted from huge bad asses in the pc to chibi like in the mobile version (since u know, we're going to easy mode). Guinsoo, who is linked with scythe of vyse (one of the developers of DotA and co-created league of legends), hexed every dota hero to not a Pig/sheep but smaller versions of themselves (technically blaming him for having LoL Wild rift and forcing dota 2 to adapt). This was foreseen by Oracle and warned all the Heroes of DotA. I bet this lore can extend to EACH heroes amd how they came and try to stop Guinsoo from hexing everyone.

I can see that this can be very challenging for the Developers since they'll have to make it adapt in making the mobile version with an actual mobile experience (fast phase, fun, less stressful, accessible, engaging). Adjusting the balance and mechanics of the whole game will be hella HARD.


But it will be worth it. It gives people more options to play and to be in the front lines of supporting/enjoying the game rather than just watching.

It's like seeing that the world is going to a mobile gaming path just like how the world saw Technology in the past.


I'm not very good at articulating my thoughts but I have a lot in mind that I can't currently change the format from brain files to a text file so I'm sorry but hey, let's talk about it. We can't deny mobile games. Everybody has a smart phone in their pocket almost every where they go. Except for you know, those organizations that go very strict like illuminatis and tasteless gentlemen.

I think most people are of the "play whatever you want to play" or "honestly I don't give a crap what you play" attitude.

-If you want "faster phase, lesser stress" games then just play Turbo.

-Chibis? God no.

-The appeal of Dota is in that is such a unique, complex and challenging game. Watering and dumbing it down for some mobile trash would cheapen it and remove that appeal. It would basically just be mobile legends with a Dota skin, in which case you might as well just play mobile legends.

ya know...... how use invoker and meepo then ? also joystick is a mess in dota i prefer touch (like vainglory) trust me its more easy and precise

Well not exactly chibi. Chibis suck yeah I just cant articulate the right words but you know, something of a pocket version. Charizard is a pocket monster if you know what I mean.

That's the challenging part I was looking/trying to say. How will you able to make it complex and challenging while having a fast phased game.

Ill like to see dota in mobile but if it still a 40 minute game a mtch ill probably skip it,because based on my experience playing moba in mobile,even the moba game with 15 minutes phase therse still many pol afk or left the game cause it is mobile.
