Dota vs Lol Community
Genuinely asking, which one is better? Or rather, which one has the lowest rate of getting a toxic player per match?

I'd say Dota 2 has less toxicity and amount of grief.
An instance would be on ranked games in LoL once they've decided on surrender it affects team morale and performance while in Dota 2 even if facing such odds at least there are some games where you can pull through.
Another is role selection although Dota 2 has also implemented it as well I find LoL too rigid that every role, champion or item has to be meta. It is rare to encounter non meta players in LoL.

I also find Dota 2 have more mature players.

A little less toxic dota but dota have more adult audience and mature. Chat voice help to be no toxic. I coming from lol. 2 days ago some guys help me to learn a complexity of dota that is bigger than lol that is a point for dota. (Sorry for my english).

Lol community consyst heavily from burned out banned dotaers. Less mature, worse system.

By all accounts both are toxic but from what I've heard from players that have played both League is more toxic by a little.

I have yet to meet a single decent person in LoL. Maybe the problem is that I never played lol in my life. But the facts are : Never met decent person in lol, but met plenty of decent people in dota.

Welp, thought of shifting to LoL but just found out that there is no voice chat in solo q of League so I guess Dota it is
There is no pause either. Imagine yourself.

There are good people just like in DotA
It's just norms there are... Well, less mature let's say. Yes, compared to DotA that is not really a golf game.

In lol i have more than 3000hs i never get banned for toxic and i have the biggest honor level ( honor level is the reward for not toxic players) and i played in the media people (platinum) i know th badest toxic and the best anti toxic guys whit that guys i played for 4 years avoiding the toxics.

For a side note Smite is the most toxic MOBA, several times I got added by enemies so they could rage at me that I didn't feed them.

i tried league for a few weeks, and my 10,000 hrs of dota vs 100hrs of league

it was during a time when jungling was still a position in both dota and league.
dota jungling felt more rewarding
league i only played 100 games of warwick, 1 champion. i had a 70% winrate.

both games i've played with voice chat muted - ppl are toxic, if ppl flame typing i mute them, otherwise i kept to myself.

these days jungling isn't a thing in dota anymore, my pos4 jungler role that i spent many years in, is now 4th position support... ... true story tho - the other day i picked ursa and went and jungled, instead of coming out of the jungle at 3min slaughtering enemy team (old time before jungle took 1min to spawn), i came out at 5min, and then slaughtered enemy team. no stuns? no disables? i'll gladly start picking jungle ursa again and rofl'stomp my way back to an mmr i used to be at.

First - lol and DotA jungler are too different. DotA jungle is a carry position, lol jungler is a roam position.
Second - can you give I'd where you get out of jungle min 3-5 and slaughter enemies? Why even go jungle then?

I play Smite, Hots, LoL, and Dota 2 still and of the big four Dota has the best community balance.

HoTS has a very low skill community but rarely communicates so it's rarely "toxic"
Smite has a average skill community, there's no proper VC, but is VERY "toxic".
LoL has a average skill community, communicates well, but is VERY "toxic".
Dota has a just above average skill community, communicates well, and is occasionally "toxic".

Also worth noting LoL and Smite has surrender options which get abused in at least half the games I play.

It mostly depends on where your friends are. Both games are best to be played with friends. Then you don‘t have to care much about toxicity.
