as far as not needing blink. there is a number of reason's why. 1. the next range is off the screen, you can net people from a mile away, 2. it's far more beneficial to learn to land nets in the end. saving you 2k, 3. it has a huge hit box where ever it goes, you can miss entirely but yet still net people. 4. with boots of travel you are moving fast enough you can out run many people and walk up to them from behind or many ways, and tp from a spot they woudn't expect ect.
as far as the rest of his items. aghanims is a must. vlads is okay, especially if you wanna solo roshan sooner than later, i get it for incombat vs people poof is less effective against and right clicks are more effective against then vlads is a good choice. for example vs ember spirit he can juke your poof easily, and he has low armor, so it's best most of the times you just right click him and avoid the temptation to poof nuke him.
ethereal is fantastic on meepo for a number of situations. 1. it is one of the most stat efficient agility items for meepo without ever using the active, that alone without the active makes it worth it. 2. it's active can be used just prior to poof nuking the enemy, net ethereal, poof for more nuke. 3. you can hit the enemy to slow them prior to netting them making landing the net easer. 4. it's really good verse picks like ursa who u need to stop them from right clicking.
there is nothing wrong with going boots of travel, vlads, aghs, and then stacking ethereal blades. since ethereal blade is highly stat efficient even if you never use the active. so this means 4 ethereal blades is not a waste of money for meepo. if you really wanna hard carry like hell and destroy enemy towers in literally less than 2 seconds and have more right click dps than the entire enemy team combined? then get aghs and 4 ethereals. stacking ethereals is even more efficient than buy an assault curias for meepo, with assault curias there is a ton more wasted stats for the cost as opposed to getting an ethereal blade instead. let an ally get assault curias.
manta style htough not as efficient as ethereal blade is a fantastic pick up situationally, vs people without much aoe and they focus on killing one meepo fast. you can get 7 meepos with manta, and enemys may try to kill one of hte illusions and waste time doing so, thinking it was a real meepo.
i'd near never get diffusal, unless against sven, to purge his 20 armor buff, but even then late game sven with his ult on, and bkb and he blink stuns meepo, it's a rough thing to play against for meepo, meepo can't right click him win, nor can meepo run, nor can meepo cc him with net. meepo beats every single thing in dota2, that is the only thing that has a even chance vs meepo. earth shaker is no match for meepo esepcially late game, but i'd still say earth shaker is a better support choice over other supports vs meepo, it just wont' hard beat meepo, that'd take your entire team to do so.
