make sure you don't have too many background programs running their daily task in your computer background every SINGLE DAY.

I'm pretty sure only Dota 2 and Steam is running in the background and I'm not that active so I rarely use my computer.

Turning off pagefile makes it worse.

did you ever open your task manager to have a look????

i'm very very sure that very few people bother to open their task manager to see what processes are running in the background.

there are plenty of programs that runs its daily task every day in the computer background.

here are some of them

1) anti virus program and anti malware program (for this i highly recommend that you do full system scan at alternate days like monday, thursday and sunday instead of every day)

2) windows updates

3) windows defender (if it is not disabled by your anti virus program)

You should only turn it off- if you have 16GB of RAM;
Check for viruses;
