Can anyone explain what are the fantasy points for?

The better the heroes you play selected, the more coins / bonus points / whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they calll the things that level up your battle pass once TI7 is over. I got pretty lucky last year, happened to have a bunch of gold cards of wings players, and so I ended up with a bunch of points. It's a fun distraction, exactly like fantasy football.

Those points will be compared to the others at the end of TI7, there is score margin that will be calculated for something like tier. each tier has different Battle Points Reward.
So it's another way to gain level for your battle pass, and it's quite fun to do tbh.
