No need since you have your ult and Q.

Q is good considering u cant phase through trees n units even if u r being attack, and the timer refreshes everytime u cross the path while blink cannot be used while being attacked even worst if its a DOT. Another cons of using dagger is spectre will waste 1 space which can be used for other useful items in the late game.

With silver edge/shadow blade, it can be easily countered using dust (while running away) and/or sentry (before your initiation). Spectre's Q however can only be countered by good vision play over the trees area which is limited to a few wards and/or heroes ability such as night stalker flying ability. While Spectre's Ultimate cannot be debuff in anyway other then global silent during war or other silencing abilities that targets him before he press his ultimate.

All in all, both dagger and sb would waste storage area for other more useful items for tankier enemies or heavy nukers.

You are talking about an running spectre which in late game others can will be running from spectre, while for blink you can make first move on lone enemy with basher and its like an free kill
And silver edge can disable passive ehich usally are the skills that provides damage and tankines which helps alot and inmptoves the skill of spectre to kill enemy who are alone.
Plus silver edge which has reduction of output damage will help spectre with tankines
Providing 50% more physical resist while 1v1
And about 35% in team fights
Cuz his dagger has low cooldown compared to blink dagger and with octarine core and lvl 25 talent ez 1 seond cooldown on spectral dagger

You say better build octarine than silver edge

The real question is why do you need silver edge.

To counter the counters...

Maybe thats wat works with you against those you played with. But personally, sb might not be helpful for farming in my point of view when doing turtle strategy or during tower defending situation which in most cases the enemies wont be pushing solo knowing they are up against spectre.

Let say you 1 vs 1 troll, he would probably just spent 1 dust to kill u if u come for him during his jungling.

For short term, yes silver edge and blink dagger is still okay
For long term,no.You don't have enough space to waste for that blink or sb,you should be creating chaos using ult and be able to tank most of the damage.Replacing blink with other items are far more better for anything

I have tested silver edge on spectre .
I recomend it while
1. Enemy team has heroes with great passive ability like bristle,wk,pa(if she gets an satanic at late so she can well counter you blademail)
2. If you have an team with great initiator like enigma and magnus which make the enemy plays in distance from each other or when you get well farmed since early and you can find enemy carry farming alone .
3. Recomanded for low skill bracked , since as all we know they (and i along with them) play separated from team solo all the time and no sentry placment
hahaha
