Stuck on Establishing Connection!

I can't get in game after accepting the match. the establishing connection screen just pops up and next thing I know is I can't find match for some Unknown Duration (Thanks to the UI bug. CANT EVEN SEE THE DURATION OF THE BAN!!!)

The problem is not the duration though. The thing is I also have a decent connection and I play on a daily basis. This never happened before. I also checked some threads stating similar problems on the dev blog but they are all atleast 2-3 years old. So I thought maybe I should put up a thread here incase any one knows about what went wrong.

Some of your file got corrupted

go to dota 2 in your library game

click properties

and find verify game cache

happens to me

if it still persist then basically you need to uninstall steam + dota 2

I did that, all files were intact. Its a glitch in the UI and the connection mechanism. Also there is a new update 100mb, maybe they finally fixed it.

Dude just try to demo a hero in loudout and then find a match... it always fixes that problem for me... try and share it... cuz i dont like when people ruin my time disconecting when picking heroes begins

i also got the same problem, but luckily i solve it, first i backup dota 2 game file, then i uninstalled dota 2 game in steam, then i uninstalled also the steam, then i type steam and valve in search windows, then i delete all file connected to steam and valve. then i go to recycle bin then empty the bin, after that i restart my laffy, then i download again steam and restore the dota 2 game file. it works for me, i hope it will help.

I swear it has to be the internet connection...
Try playing other online games... see if u can play it without lag or anythng

Or try playing overthrow in dota arcade... thats when u see thats there has been a problem connecting to stram server
.
Another thing to prove it... is when u play bot match then the bots will not wear ur items or sets...
