VAC error with no admin
Hello.
I cannot go into matchmaking with Steam & Dota 2 installed without admin rights. I always get the VAC error. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Install all updates from the Windows Update Center. Correctly set the time zone, synchronize the time through the Internet.

are you saying that you install steam and dota 2 on a computer without logging in as the administrator of that said computer??????

if yes, then here is the next question

1) where are you playing dota 2?????? at home or at school or........????

1. Yes
2. Not your business.
3. Thanks!

you never answer this question

1) where are you playing dota 2?????? at home or at school or........????

I am going to make this obvious, for you: I do not want to tell you where I am going to play.

then here is an advice

1) do not play dota 2 at school especially by using the school's computer.

You guys done cat fighting? Geez.

You need to understand where grey is coming from and what most of us are thinking OP. It’s bizarre to hear that someone is trying to install Steam or DOTA without admin rights. It’s perfectly natural to ask if you are installing it on a machine that is controlled by IT / your parents.

If you don’t feel like answering the question, that’s your prerogative. Then we are just going on what we perceive is going on, which is you are trying to install or run applications that you can’t install.
I just restart my steam and its good to go

i wonder if you are stupid or what......lol.

OP's post is clearly telling everyone that he installs dota 2 and steam on a computer without logging into the administrator account on that said computer.

and i can guarantee that he can't delete files or folder on that computer without admin permission at all.

@The One They Call Dante
It is irrelevant. Seriously now. Wasn't my intention to fight.

@graystripe
Actually, I can delete files without any problem.

the moment you refuses to answer my questions properly clearly shows what kind of person you are.

Simple solution: be the admin

he still need administrator permission to do certain things.

your suggestion is totally plain useless since you never bother to read every single post in this thread carefully based on your post.
