How to delete "A welcoming gift"

I started playing Dota 2 with my friends about two years, but I never got around to having enough time to play it or really liking it. I ended up getting the welcoming gift, and its been sitting in my steam inventory for about 2 years now. I'm wondering if it is possible to get rid of it.

Tags: Standard, Rare, Tool, N/A, Other, Not Tradable, Not Marketable

Ive already looked through similar cases in this thread and most people responded with try to right click, but it didnt work. Thanks for looking at my post though :/

Yeah that's what I was thinking I might have to, But I would have to reinstall the game, as it hasnt been on my PC's harddrive in over 2 years :/

its not that having an extra game in my library is a problem, its just that I dont have any room on my hard drive atm :/

I also addressed this issue to support.
According to information from support, nothing can be done with this chest (either open or delete) since the release of the “New Life” update. It's disappointing. I don't need this garbage in my inventory!
