Silver Edge vs heroes like Bristleback....

How am I supposed to play Bristleback when Silver edge is in the game?


Bristleback is a WEAK strength hero that relies on his passive to be tanky. Silver edge is a strong utility item that also completely removes Bristlebacks tankyness and makes him a soft target.


Every game has AT LEAST 1 hero that can buy a silver edge, so how is Bristleback supposed to win ever?

You can buy guardian greaves and dispell that effect, or eul, or bkb.

Don't forget that there was diffusal to kill warlock golems, or manaburn making wk useless even in lategame.

Or just disengage. I know it sucks as carry, but it is good.

You can say the same about phantom assassin, silver edge removes her ulti and blur, or any other hero with strong passives like huskar.

Best way is to uninstall and be happy, I did and now I don't stay awake at night worrying about countering silver edge as a BB

Not really :P Phantom Assassin is always a weak agi carry, with or without passives.


Bristleback needs his passive for offense and defense. Its the whole hero.

didnt they remove that when they remove the cd on diffu? As far as i know they havent returned this even though they gave diffu cd again.

Buy an eul's or ghost scepter and just use them to wait out the silver edge debuff.
