Tb wins.

Terrorblade wins. Too many illusions, too much armor and tons of damage from metamorphosis. Also sunder for but I doubt he would use it in a 1v1. Antimage isn't even really that great in deep late game. Yes he is fairly tanky because of his itemization but damage is questionable.

I would favor the terrorblade as well, but it's tough to say. It certainly is a hard decision.

Battlefury counters illusion (and cleave ignores armor which TB has a lot of), and blink can gap close metamorphosis' range. Sunder would almost certainly win it for TB unless AM has aghs or a perfectly timed ult or stun or somesuch. But yeah I still say terrorblade, he's a scary mofo.

It's certainly strong but that's 2 item slots, and terrorblade can disable both AM's passives with a silveredge (which isn't too unordinary for him to build).

A lot of it is really up to player skill as well, I'm not arguing that an antimage will NEVER win that sort of match up, he certainly could.

Normally I think TB wins in pure damage, with metamorphosis and illusions, but AM has a built-in-blink that is hard to disable, especially once you're out of mana. I'm thinking that maybe AM could use hit-and-run tactics to wear TB down.

Anti Aghs would block the sunder but also recast it on terrorblade causing health to be swapped regardless. So Terrorblade would still have control over when health is swapped.

Obviously Anti Mage Wins, Terror is Paper. Also Illusions don't affect AM he gets Battle Fury. Abyssal stubs and Sunder takes some time to cast and probably AM with +25 Agility at Max Level will stun him again. So My Bet is on AM.

Edit: Skills Matter!

In terms of just stats, at level 25 TB only has 40 less health than antimage, but TB has almost twice as much armor, you'd have to be insane to call TB "paper".
