can you explain by "slightest", i've played games related to Dota2 but I don't want to spend a ton of time leveling up to then find out you need to basically PTW/PTP after that...

Dota 2 is NOT a pay-to-win game. Dota 2 is totally free in any ways than any other MOBA. In MOBA's such as League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, Heroes of Newerth, you must pay for profile icon, nickname change, heroes etc... In Dota 2 you can in the beginning play any hero, put your profile icon on steam which will be automatically ported to Dota 2 and change your nickname and do other stuff that other MOBA's doesn't allow you to do for free.

Its a moba
Every game you start from lvl 1 to max 25.
And no, you cant buy anything with real money to make you better in any way.
Only things you can buy is skins to make your heroes look different. And some compendium/passes for more cosmetics and stuff.

Everything you can spend money on in this game is purely cosmetic and has no effect on gameplay.

Well i just state at some point it does have a P2W ideal put into the game.

People shouldt not forget or not inform so when Valve do it again people shock like its the end of dota2.

Where this community tends to do.

The community reacted badly to the minor p2w in the events so the last event didn't have any p2w, there may not be p2w in any future events.

There is no grinding aspect. When you play, you have access to everything that a player with 10,000 games has.

The only things you can buy are tickets to watch tournaments in-client, and cosmetics. NO gameplay changes at all under any circumstances.
