arcade mode games have enable cheat checkbox greyed out

So I want to get myself into a solo Epic Boss Fight lobby where I could enable cheats and try to run through it solo starting with max levels and gold, but when I make the lobby, the allchat and enable cheats checkboxes are greyed out, and won't let me check them. I understand that in public lobbies there needs to be protection so the host doesnt go super saiyan on everyone else, but there has to be a way around it for private/solo lobbies, right?

I also tried making a lobby from the standard menu but it won't let me select arcade modes, although it does met me turn cheats on as expected. I'm just not sure what to do here.

The gamemode itself probably has cheats disabled in the code. You won't be ae to change that either, as from what I understand the creator of that mode used to have it open source, but after someone reuploaded the whole thing and it started getting traffic, they made it closed source and got the plaguarizer shut down.

They are greyed out because to play with cheats you need to add a password and then you can check the boxes
