An item/spell that increases the radius of spells.
When Aether lense came out, we quickly learned that it had no effect over the radius of AoE spells, likely due to how much that would improve spells like Centaur's stun. However, just because it hasn't happened, doesn't mean it won't happen later.

Do you guys think there might be an item in the future that increases the radius of spells in that way? Perhaps an item that builds from Aether lense? Or maybe it could be a spell for a completely different hero, a support who can make a Slardar stun like a Tidehunter?

It will be overpowered...

Mostly on Enigma.

Not necessarily. What would be the difference between an ally casting a spell on Enigma that adds 100 to black hole's radius, and a Dark seer casting a spell that pulls people into Enigma's regular radius?

If you posted this kind of thread before aether lens came out everyone would say adding range to spells is op. But since lens is balanced, so could be the item you suggest. I would like such item in the game. Or at least, make it a talent for few heroes.

That'd be great it will make witch doctors 3rd skill have a better pay off in fights(the small radius it currently has is a gamble on hitting heroes sometimes since it has a silly cast delay yet can be mitigated by running away and eating a tango)

Considering that Aether lens by design did not increase the radii of spells, I think we can assume that this is because they thought it would be too strong, while the simple range increase would not be. This doesn't mean that any concievable item would be OP, because the price could be extremely high or the radius increase underwhelmingly low.

Also, consider that this mechanic doesn't even need to be an item. It could be an ability from a new support type hero that buffs one ally so that the next spell he casts has an extra radius where applicable. Think about how KotL's Chakra magic decreases the CD of the next spell cast. The hypothetical ability could work like that. It could be an Ultimate, a basic ability with a super long cooldown, it could be a one trick pony spell or it could grant other bonuses to the spell besides radius, maybe damage. It could increase for only one spell on a long cooldown, or it could last for several seconds on as many spells as the hero could cast, albeit with very slight effect.

There is plenty of potential for this concept, and I think that we can expect a mechanic like this in the future.
