Remove Clockwerk
With the addition of hurricane pike, most carries, especially ranged, will purchase this item. This item renders Clockwerk 100% useless in any match from this point forward, even matches that are 1k. Clockwerk is now not a viable hero to be played whatsoever and therefore needs to be completely removed from the bloated hero pool. If not removed, his spells need completely reworked. Clockwerk is a prime example of Valve's inapt thought process for a high profile game. I feel liek Valve should only interact with games that do not reach the masses as they do not have the personnel for high profile games and always ruin them, i.e. Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, Dota, etc etc. Remove heroes from the bloated pool, thank you.

what items do your buy when using clockwerk???????

one of the core items for clockwerk is "blademail".

if you never get the item not even once, then you are playing him wrongly.

How does blademail stop people from using pike to escape his cogs?
Hurricane Pike is a luxury item that most carries never buy because it requires they purchase a Force Staff. That's a whole slot dedicated to an extremely situational item they may never use, especially when a Blink Dagger will usually be the far more versatile option. The only carries that innately go Force Staff are the few ranged Intel carries (OD, Silencer, and Invoker, for example). Agility carries will almost never buy it (the few that do get it for the stats of Dragon Lance, like Meepo), and Strength carries will absolutely never buy it if they're any level of competent.
Besides, Clock's Q occurs frequently enough to prevent most spells from casting and most items from popping. Unless you have BKB (or you're Legion Commander with a Blademail) you're usually completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if Clock traps you in his cogs.

The idea of clockwerk pick in most game is intiation (Hook)..and map controls (Flare) ..the cogs just mere there for positioning where after hooking someone, use cog to push enemy hero further to your team instead inside it...

Try watch some of tournaments game that have Clock picks..learn how is more then just trapping people inside Cog.

If they force/pike out of cogs, they will trigger the cog mechanics giving any clock player ample time to break open a cog, follow the enemy and assault it with his 1st skill.

Also, the same could be said about Riki's smoke screen, should we remove him as well? Point of the matter is, his win rate is still above 50% in the highest of skill brackets, though he is a very situational pick, but most heroes are.

If an enemy use force staff or hurrican pike the cogs will activate damage your hp and mana, they will not travel the full distance of the forcepush. And if you are the clockwork and you got trapped inside your cogs when the enemy bolted then you are stupid.

Fun fact people said that when ForceStaff started to become popular in 2010. And Clock is still here.
