Possible fix to Cant Update dota 2 with Globe ISP.

Hi Guys

For my fellow GLOBE users

You may try this. THIS WORKED FOR ME!

After of numerous possible fix for this like changing region , clear download cache, reinstall etc. I've came to the point where I called the globe technical support and ask to refresh my connection. After doing that , works like a charm , my client started to update and able to open dota2.

Guys i try to play dota (works good since a 6-7 hours ago) now when i open the game i don't have connection on steam idk why and when a tried to find match the game say "Lost connection from Steam"

Called ISP and asked for a refresh of connection as TS posted. Worked instantly. TY mate!

what Elly Bugioa says is correct.

if you got internet connection problems, don't blame valve instantly, that is a very big and bad mistake.

try to find out whether is it your Internet Service Provider having problems or not first by calling them.

Ayt. Exhaust all troubleshooting on isp and steam side before complaining .

If at all possible you should change to an ISP that doesn't cap your internet usage.

It didn't work for me when i have reached the capping limit. Possibly just wait for midnight or try updating it tomorrow. They told me it will be back to it's original speed once you reach the capping limit :)

If your limit refreshes every Midnight, call morning after. But if your limit refreshes monthly, they wont do it.

Yeah mine is Monthly, That would explain it. I wonder though what caused this problem in the first place?

When I spoke with them, they admitted na it's on their side. They could have changed something and failed to refresh the connections of their clients.
